FAMILY & FRIENDS
School. Practice. Home. BeSafe gives you a little reassurance when the people you care about reach the places that matter.

One less thing to wonder about.
THE LITTLE MOMENTS
BeSafe focuses on arrivals, departures, and a simple “I’m OK.” A thoughtful way to stay connected as everyone finds their own way.
Invite family or friends by phone. Connections are accepted individually, and each person’s list stays private.
Add the places that fit your day—home, school, practice. Choose connected people for arrival and departure alerts, and optionally share a zone with someone you’re already connected with.
Receive an alert when they enter or leave a zone you created or accepted. Or they can send an “I’m OK” check-in when a personal update is what matters.
A DAY, A LITTLE EASIER
See how an everyday moment becomes a simple update.
Illustrative examples, not a live app or real location data.
8:12 AM · School
The school zone you created lets you know Maya made it. You can get on with your morning.
MADE FOR REAL LIFE
Create up to 10 named places with a boundary that suits each one. Share a place with a connected person, or accept one they share with you. Each person chooses their own connected people for arrival and departure alerts.
Your zones stay private unless you explicitly share them. Accepting a shared zone doesn’t use one of your 10 zones.
A one-tap check-in tells the people on your list you’re OK. It can include where you were when you tapped, without turning ongoing sharing on.
A check-in can still send when GPS is unavailable.
Parents, caregivers, college students, friends, and carpools. Each connection is individual—an invitation doesn’t put someone on everyone else’s list.
Being built for mixed iPhone and Android households.
TRUST IS PART OF THE DESIGN
BeSafe is built around accepted connections, clear controls, and knowing who can see you. Reassurance should feel reassuring.
Location sharing with friends and other non-guardian connections starts off. Accepting a parent or guardian connection enables that person to see a minor’s location; the minor’s pause control only pauses sharing with friends and other non-guardian connections.
You only see people you’re connected with by mutual acceptance. Eligible connections can be ended from People to stop sharing in both directions. Children under 18 cannot remove an accepted parent or guardian from their list.
BeSafe does not sell precise location data or use it for advertising. Location and activity history are kept short—approximately 72 hours.
Delete your account in Settings. You can also request an export of your account information, people, zones, and retained location and activity data.
A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS
Thoughtful safety starts with knowing how it works.
BeSafe Alerts: Family & Friends is in development for iPhone and Android. Public App Store and Google Play download links aren’t available here yet. Get in touch to ask about availability.
Location is available to individually accepted connections under the app’s sharing rules. Sharing with friends and other non-guardian connections starts off. Adults can pause sharing with everyone. Children under 18 cannot pause sharing with an accepted parent or guardian, but can pause sharing with friends and other non-guardian connections.
No. For children under 18, an accepted parent or guardian connection keeps location sharing on with that person, even when the child pauses sharing with friends. The child can see the parent or guardian under “Who can see you.” Children under 18 also cannot remove an accepted parent or guardian from their list. They can pause sharing with friends and other non-guardian connections. Adults 18 and over can pause sharing with everyone.
No. It sends a check-in to the people already on your list and can include a one-time location snapshot from that moment. It doesn’t turn on ongoing sharing or change your pause setting. For a minor who has paused with friends, accepted parents or guardians still receive the snapshot; paused friends receive the message without coordinates. The message can send even if location is unavailable.
Your zones stay private unless you explicitly share them with a connected person. The recipient accepts the same place and boundary, then chooses people they already share location with for alerts. Only the owner can edit the boundary. The owner cannot see the recipient’s assignments or receive their alerts.
Sharing a zone grants no additional location access and follows the existing pause rules. Ending a recipient’s connection with a person stops that person’s alerts. The owner can revoke access, and a recipient can stop alerts and leave without deleting the owner’s zone. Someone who is only being watched is not shown the zone’s name or who shared it.
No. You can create up to 10 named zones of your own. A zone someone shares with you uses the owner’s existing boundary and does not count toward your 10 zones.
BeSafe supports saved passkeys, unlocked using your device’s Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint, or PIN. Your biometric data and device PIN stay on your device; BeSafe stores the public passkey credential, not those details.
BeSafe also uses in-app verification codes delivered through push notifications. New-account codes arrive on the requesting phone; existing-account codes go to the previously enrolled recovery phone. These codes aren’t sent through a third-party SMS service.
No. Once both people accept a connection, only the original inviter can propose a different relationship, and the change takes effect only when the recipient accepts it. Until then, the existing relationship remains. An inviter under 18 cannot change an established parent or guardian relationship until they turn 18.
Timing depends on location accuracy, internet access, notification permissions, and the phone’s background settings. Indoor GPS and a phone that isn’t reporting location can delay an update. BeSafe is being built to use background location on iPhone and Android; device testing is still part of development.
No. BeSafe’s zone alerts and check-ins help people stay connected. It doesn’t provide emergency dispatch, crash detection, or an SOS service. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
